Yesterday afternoon I decided to go looking for some geocaches. The weather didn't look threatening but it wasn't long before it was. It rained off and on but I didn't get too wet. We had some heavy rain last evening which translated into snow in the higher areas.
We've been playing cards and sharing meals with various friends most days since arriving. We have anywhere from four to eight of us at a time. It has been great catching up with all our friends and making a few more new ones.
A long distance shot of the Bookcliffs which are across I-70 from Grand Junction and Clifton, CO.

Still a bit of colour in spots.
Lots of colourful lichen on exposed rocks. I see a dog's head on the right.
This storm system was to my south and I did get damp from it when I walked away from the road for a cache.
This system was to my north walloping Grand Mesa. It dumped a fair bit of snow up there.
This morning we got to see what the Bookcliffs received last night.
