SOME FALL BIRD ACTIVITY.

In the fall the birds seem to change their habits and some are migrating south stopping off to rest and snack.  The eagles seem to move in when the osprey leave.  The herons are less flighty and the magpies let me get closer.  We went for a drive on Saturday and part of the area we passed through was high elevation grass lands so that's where the magpie, hawk and pipits were.  The eagle and heron were along the Okanagan River at home.

This Red-tailed Hawk flew over while I was shooting the magpie.
