BIRDS ALONG THE RIVER TRAIL ON MY MORNING WALKS

Some days my feathered friends are more cooperative than others.  These were all taken with my full frame digital camera with a 100-400 lens which is kind of a heavy brute to carry for a longer walk but can deliver nice results.

Rufous Hummingbird

The first Eastern Kingbird this year.  They are a late arrival because they have a long commute from their winter home in the Amazon rainforest.
