BIRDS ALONG THE RIVER TRAIL ON MY MORNING WALKS

Some days my feathered friends are more cooperative than others.  These were all taken with my full frame digital camera with a 100-400 lens which is kind of a heavy brute to carry for a longer walk but can deliver nice results.

Rufous Hummingbird

The first Eastern Kingbird this year.  They are a late arrival because they have a long commute from their winter home in the Amazon rainforest.

  1. Another advantage to the full sized camera is the speed of which you can take the pictures that the smaller cameras don't give you. Great pictures as always.
