CROW LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK PELICANS

Continuing on our journey to Fort McMurray, we spent two nights at Crow Lake Provincial Park.  We were thrilled to see more pelicans and I was able to get some rather close shots of one.   We went geocaching the full day we were there and explored some of the country in the car.

One of many beaver lodges we saw

Nearing Fort McMurray the country is quite flat so the views are very long

This monster machine heading to the oil patch was interesting

One truck pulling and one pushing

Twenty two axles with eight wheels each means there are 176 tires supporting the load

Aileen was driving so I was able to get some photos on the move
