AROUND HOME AND A SHORT RIDE IN THE SIDE BY SIDE TODAY.

It has been pretty quiet here the past while.  The motorhome has been emptied and put away until next time.  We did have a short enjoyable visit from Bev and Kev on Monday.  We have made bread and butter pickles, blueberry jam and pickled beets.  We drove to Keremeos one day looking to get peaches but they weren't very good and they were asking way more than last year so we left them.  We'll keep our eyes open for better ones.

We took the General for a ride today up to Burnell, Madden and Ripley Lakes.  There were the odd people out there but we never met another vehicle on the drive.  The lakes were so pretty today.   Even though we weren't much higher in elevation, it sure was a lot warmer when we got back down to the car.

An invasive plant, Purple Loosestrife gets a bad rap, but it sure is pretty.
