A SUNNY SATURDAY DRIVE ON THE MOUNT BALDY ROAD TO SEE THE LARCH TREES IN THEIR FALL COLOUR

Mount Baldy is the closest ski hill to Oliver and it makes for a great circle trip to go up from Oliver and return home via Highway 3 through Osoyoos.  We took some lunch and wandered our way through yesterday under gorgeous sunny skies.  Western Larch is a deciduous evergreen in that it has needles but they drop every fall.  Larch is also commonly called Tamarack.
