We took a drive to different areas of the park every day as well as walking morning and evening so we were able to experience quite a bit of variety of flora and fauna.
As we were heading up the Maligne Road, this black bear was just walking along parallel to the road seemingly unconcerned with traffic.
It's hard to see, but the bear is standing up scratching his back on the pine tree. Later he reached behind over his head and pulled the tree tighter against him for a better scratch.
A little further up the road we came upon this smaller black bear and her last year's cub.
