This could be my last post for a while as we are about to wander off. Tomorrow we will head up near Summerland to get a good parking spot (hopefully) at a forestry campsite where we will join other members of the Summerland ATV Club for a weekend event. Aileen and I will probably go for an ATV ride on Friday then I will probably ride with the club on Saturday.
On Sunday we will bring the ATV home and park it then hook
up the car to the motorhome and carry on.
The loose plan is to take Hwy 3 east to Cranbrook then take Hwy 93 up to
Radium where we will turn east toward Banff National Park. We hope to take the Icefields Highway up
through Banff into Jasper National Park then spend a few days in the Jasper
area.
From there we are heading to Donnelly, Alberta to visit
Cousin Judith for a few days. After that
we are going to visit our daughter in Fort McMurray, AB for a few days before
heading homeward. I doubt there is
enough cell coverage this weekend to post anything and some of our mountain
travel with be the same.
Safe travels and looking forward to your post and photos from the trip. Vern in Boise Id.
