FALL HAPPENINGS IN THE AREA.

The trees are just about done with their glorious colours for this year.  The vineyards are turning various colours depending on specie and the bighorn sheep have come down from the hills.  Here are a few images from the past couple of days.

Like my tongue?

Elderberries and fall colour.

This chipmunk was eating sagebrush or something similar.

Vineyard.

Vineyards with Vaseux Lake and McIntyre Bluff.  We live just beyond the bluff in the top left.

About fifty bighorn sheep in a field.  There was a guy monitoring the field measuring the height of the grass.  He said if the sheep eat more than ten percent, the farmer gets compensated.  There were fenced sections as a control measure.
