AND THE SMOKE ROLLED IN ACROSS THE OCEAN FROM WASHINGTON STATE

We started with a nice sunny day yesterday but just before lunch that all change when a wall of smoke came across the strait.  As the afternoon progressed the smoke got thicker.  Oh well.  We went to a horse farm that our daughter in law volunteers at and wandered around in the afternoon.

This was part of an event raising money for childhood cancer

The approaching smoke

Sailboats in a row

And this is why they were in a row

Gull eating a clam

Jellyfish on the rocks

Kite boarding

I think this is out of my price range

Jellyfish in the water

Canada Geese against the smoky sky

The smoky sun reflected in a pond

She seemed to be enjoying the ride

Got my ducks in a row finally!

The sun through the heavy smoke

Relaxed

Time to scratch an itch

Contemplation

Close up

Listening

Horned Larks

Horned Lark
