A FEW MORE IMAGES FROM OUR FIRST DAY ON THE WEST COAST OF VANCOUVER ISLAND

We went for a walk along part of the Wild Pacific Trail after supper the first night.

A bit of wave action

Asters tucked in a little protected basin along the water's edge

This poor bedraggled Paintbrush was near the asters

From signs I read, I think this is dried sea foam that is formed by the wave action and the carcasses of tiny sea creatures such as Phytoplankton

Some evening light

Sunset was quite spectacular

Last tip of the sun before it sank beneath the horizon

Sundown

A bit after the sun had set
