FIRST LEG OF OUR ROAD TRIP COMPLETE

Our trip went well on the first day.  With just four minor construction delays we made it to the ferry in just under 6 1/2 hours.  Forty minutes later we were on the ferry heading for Vancouver Island and in just over two hours we were at our friends house.  We met Bev and Dan through the Island chapter of Escapees RV Club and they offered their driveway for us to park in while we are here.  Great friends!

Richard and Georgia came and visited after supper then we met them Friday morning to walk the dogs in the park near their house.  After good naps after lunch we went back to their house.  We drove Georgia off to her Friday night get together with friends then helped Richard and Robin share their 21st anniversary supper with steak and salad at home.

After a walk around the neighbourhood this morning, we went to Cattle Point to sit and watch the ocean while we had our lunch.
