ROAD TRIP SHEEP AND ICE

We drove over to Keremeos yesterday then took the Ashnola Road.  The first group of Bighorn Sheep were along the Similkameen River.   The last few sheep were further up along the Ashnola River.  Today's photos were all taken with my full frame DSLR and 100-400 mm lens.

These sheep were very interested in whatever was in the sand and weren't eager to give it up and let the car past.  Taken through the windshield.

Lots of thick ice in the Similkameen River

The rest of these ice photos are in the Ashnola River

These sheep photos were taken through the open sunroof while I was sitting in my seat as the sheep were up the hill above the road.
