BIGHORN SHEEP INTERACTION

Since the lighting conditions were good, I thought I would pop up to the road above Vaseux Lake to get some nice shots of the massive ice sheets hanging on the cliffs.  Oops, the sun had melted them so most were gone already.  However, the large herd of Bighorn Sheep more than made up for the loss of the ice.  The neat thing about this area is that it is only a couple miles up the highway from home.

At one point, a large piece of ice broke off the cliff and came crashing down.  That startled the
herd and they stampeded for a minute but soon settled down.
