WE MOVED UP TO PORT MCNEILL ON WEDNESDAY AND SAW A BEAR THE FIRST NIGHT.

Richard and Georgia were coming up from Victoria to spent a few days with us so we dawdled heading north from Campbell River.  We stopped at Eve River rest area for Aileen's nap and then we relaxed for a while.  Just before we were going to pull out and continue our journey, Richard and Georgia drove in.  Georgia rode in the motorhome as co-pilot which she enjoyed and Aileen road with Richard.  We are parked at my Cousin Steve's place again but this will be the last time.  Steve passed away nearly two years ago and the property is for sale.  His son kindly offered us the use of the property again so here we are.
We went down to view the ocean after supper the first night and Richard spotted the bear busy eating salmon berries so I managed to get a few photos.  We visited Aileen's sister Anne and husband John in the evenings and Richard and Georgia enjoyed the use of the hot tub.  We enjoyed having the kids here and we wandered around the area most days.  We visited with two of my cousins while they were here.    Richard and Georgia left yesterday, Sunday, after we had a little birthday lunch for Aileen.  Georgia opened her birthday card from us as her birthday is tomorrow, Tuesday.  It appears we're in for some wet days so we'll see how that goes.  We aren't here for long this trip as we have other things happening down Island.

A little island on a lake out in the forest with some people camping on it.
