LAST FEW IMAGES FROM THE PORT MCNEILL AREA.

We left Port McNeill Monday morning and spent the night at Tony and Rita's in Campbell River then moved down to Charlie and Sheila's in Errington on Tuesday.   We will be here for a few days, spending the night at the fairgrounds Saturday for our family reunion then back here for a few more days afterward.  We plan to work our way down Island from here before eventually heading home to Oliver.

Sointula and Mt Stephen from Port McNeill.

The Coast Range from Port McNeill.

My brother in law took me for a ride in his side by side up to a high point.  We spotted this Blue Grouse up top.

Deer Cabbage with lots of bugs on the flowers.

Deer Cabbage with no bugs.

From the top we're looking down on an inlet from the west coast.  On the right leads to Coal Harbour and in the distance leads to Holberg.
