CONTINUING DOWN THE ROAD.
We have moved along again. This morning we moved down to Victoria and are now parked in our son's backyard. We visited the local sani dump in Duncan shortly after leaving Neil and Carol's. Yesterday was a busy day for us. We visited my second oldest cousin, Gary, and met his youngest daughter Patty. She's been teaching in Vancouver for thirty four years. Later we visited my oldest cousin, Dale, who will be 89 in just over a month. He just had his first cataract surgery and his son Bruce was visiting from Calgary to help administer the eye drops. And then last night we played cards with RV friends, Sue and Keith. That meant naps for both of us after lunch today. Here are a few photos taken around the area while we were parked at Neil and Carol's.

Spotted while geocaching up Nile Creek. This tree started growing on top of the nurse stump then over the years the outer layer of the stump fell away.
Devil's Club. The thorns will give you a nasty blistery rash.
Coming in for a landing! Neat cloud above sister Sue's sunflowers.

SUCCESSFUL FAMILY REUNION NOW IT IS TIME TO MOVE FURTHER DOWN THE ROAD.
While we had about 125 attendees at our family reunion last weekend, we had expected quite a few more. Those that attended had a great time. There was lots of visiting and new friendships made. Two ten year old girls and a 12 year old girl who had never met had a great time and they even got up on the stage Saturday night to sing and they did a great job. My sisters Wendy and Becky and our cousin Doug played guitar and harmonica and sang and gave us some excellent music. The Sunday pancake breakfast was enjoyed by those who were there for it.
Tomorrow we will move down the road to Duncan where cousin Neil and Carol have again offered the use of their yard to park in for a few days. We have some family and friends we hope to see while there then after that we will move further along and stay with our son and family in Victoria until it is time to head home.
I think we had about 75 in this photo.
I took this from the car across the highway.

Brother in law John R told me about Oak Leaf Park which we'd never been to so after supper last night we checked it out. It was a great little spot!
