There were five rigs that spent Friday and Saturday nights parked at Crump which is an un-serviced campground controlled by Sites and Trails BC. I went for a ride with Doug and Ann on Friday afternoon then Aileen and I visited at two campfires after supper meeting the rest of the attendees. I went on the club ride Saturday morning with seventeen other machines. We didn't get much sun but had several light rain showers and at one point, snowflakes. After we returned from the ride we all got together for the official club barbeque with probably around forty people attending.
Shortly after we got set up on Friday, Doug came over to tell us about this bear they spotted on the hillside above camp. I was surprised at how far he traveled across the open hillside.
This little gopher was close to the motorhome.
With Ann and Doug. The dam on Trout Creek was overflowing.
Visiting at our second campfire Friday evening.
Just below Crump camp on Friday afternoon. This black bear was on the other side of Trout Creek.

Saturday morning in almost the same place the bear was on Friday, I spotted this mountain goat.
Our first rest stop Saturday morning just as we turned off the KVR rail trail to head up into the mountains. There were twelve quads and six side by sides.
A little mountain meadow.
Heading home along the KVR we stopped to peek at this old sauna alongside Trout Creek.
Inside the sauna.
Peeking in an end window.
Violets by the sauna.
Wild apple tree along the rail trail from an apple core someone tossed aside years ago.
Lichen on a rock in behind the apple blossoms.
There was lots of Penstemon blooming along the rail trail.
The only Scarlet Gilia I saw, down below Crump camp.
