ENJOYING OUR TIME AT 96 RANCH ROAD CAMP.

We've been spending lots of time outside here, walking and geocaching with photography when it happens.  We did take a break from here and made a run down to Tucson today.  We went to Gourmet Girls which is a totally gluten free venue and had a nice lunch.  We found a new pair of shoes for Aileen as well as picking up a few groceries.

Except as noted, the photos are all from yesterday.

AMTRAK passenger train passing the Dragoon Mountains north of St. David, AZ the other day while we were out geocaching.

Flicker.

Male Phainopepla.

Black-throated Sparrow.

Cactus Wren.

Female Phainopepla.

Saw this the other day north of St. David.  The ants are making a nest using mostly Mesquite leaves.

Different types of Cholla.

There was a ring around the sun yesterday.

We're in the land of the Saguaro.

A wee bit of sunset last night.

We did some night geocaching last night.  I thought this was rather interesting.  He drilled a hole in the log to insert the cache then used a long screw to hinge the top.  When closed up it looked like a log.

And here's the old guy himself!
