RV RALLY WITH OLD AND NEW FRIENDS.

We enjoyed our stay parked in our son's back yard in Victoria for four nights.  We did get to visit our  retired RV friends Dan and Bev.  They sold their bus conversion a few years ago and decided they wouldn't buy another RV but they keep in touch with friends made along the way over the years.

We moved up to Seal Bay RV Park near Comox yesterday.  This rally is very small with just four rigs attending.  Another would have joined us but they are stuck behind a blocked highway due to a wildfire.  The alternate route is much longer and not RV friendly as it consists of gravel logging roads for a long distance.  Several others are out of the country for family events.  We know two of the couples attending and the other couple joined the group since we were last here in 2019.

Rhododendrons on our morning walk.

This cat joined us on the beach one morning.

Red Hot Pokers late evening.

I was sitting on a bench at a rest stop overlooking the Strait of Georgia watching the ferry approach Denman Island.

Still on the bench I took this photo of Lone Pine Farm on Denman Island.
