ON WEDNESDAY JUNE 3, I GOT TO SPEND A FEW MINUTES IN OKANAGAN FALLS.

Western Tiger Swallowtail.

An immature Red-winged Blackbird.  It could barely fly but bumbled along.

This Canada Goose was missing its left foot.

Painted Turtles.

A tiny Painted Turtle, about two inches across.

A Bullock's Oriole nest.

Bullock's Oriole male.

Bullock's Oriole female.

Pale Swallowtail.

Pale Swallowtail.

Western Tiger Swallowtail.

The bighorn sheep were right alongside the busy highway.  I shot these photos across two lanes of traffic.  If you look closely there are six lambs in this photo.
