The first five were taken while we were in the side by side in the hills not far from home as the crow flies. The rest except for the eagle were taken on one of the roads we walk along. The eagle was at the north end of Vaseux Lake and I jumped out of the car as I was driving along on Highway 97. Yes, I did park off the highway!
We had lunch alongside these balsamroot flowers.
Chocolate Lilies were blooming in the trees on our other side at lunch.
Shortly after leaving our lunch spot this Ruffed Grouse posed for us.
Looking down over the vineyards to Vaseux Lake. We get to enjoy some nice scenery while walking. As I have mentioned before, we live just past McIntyre bluff on the right.
This Goldfinch pair entertained us on our walk.

Vulture checking us out, unfortunately for him we were still moving.
This Bald Eagle circled around a couple of times before wandering away.
