We're finally getting close to moving in. Several of the items I mentioned the other day took longer than planned. Surprise! The internet did get hooked up yesterday. The bed arrived on schedule last Thursday and the appliances on Friday. The appliances were to be hooked up today but then the guy remembered today was a Canadian holiday so re-scheduled for tomorrow morning.
We've been down to the house every day cleaning and now moving on to organizing mode. With some clear direction as to what is needed, I've been out buying some of the things we need to make it more of a home. The bedroom suite is all set up and ready to go and the big desk is in place in my office/photo room. With a reduced size from our previous house, fitting in everything we think we need is challenging. We had about 2667 sq feet with the main floor and basement in our last house while this one is 1323 on one level. That sounds like a whine but it isn't supposed to be.
