MOOCHDOCKING AT R, R & G's

Yes, we are parked in the bottom driveway at our son Richard's.  We have been enjoying visiting with him, Robin and Georgia.  We spent some time with Richard and Georgia both Saturday and Sunday and we share meals most evenings.  They of course, have their busy schedule of school and work.  We picked Georgia up from school a couple of times and took Mitzy into the school to meet her.  Mitzy was a hit with lots of other kids too.
We are getting together with our friend Bev D for lunch today and hope to meet up with former Salmon Arm friends Ian and Wendy tomorrow.  Our current plan is to leave here Friday morning and move up Island a little further.  After a few days, we will move up a little more.

A similar ferry to the one I'm on.  We meet in a narrow passage called Active Pass and the ferries have to time it to meet in the middle where there is the maximum amount of room.

The other boat turns left through that narrow entrance then heads across to Vancouver

As we get closer to landing on Vancouver Island

Oyster Catcher

The Oyster Catcher and this Otter were just down across the highway below where we are parked

He is only fifteen or so feet from me

Great Blue Heron with a nugget of food in his bill

We spent some time at Butchart Gardens last Saturday
