AN AFTERNOON DRIVE EAST OF GRAND JUN CTION.

 I went out geocaching but it turned in to a mostly photography afternoon.

This is a long shot up the side of Grand Mesa.  I thought the ribbon of cottonwood in the scrub oak looked neat.

This ranch must be all about mules.

I spotted this little guy in a Juniper tree while walking to a geocache.

I had noticed the great colour as we drove down the hill into the Grand Valley so the next day I went back about the same time.
