ATV RIDE

I had advertised a ride for my club members and a Facebook group for yesterday.  I was prepared to go on my own if nobody showed up planning to do some flower photos.  It turned out that our newest club members, who actually happen to live in Oliver, were the only ones to appear.  We had a really nice laid back ride and I managed to get some flower photos.

Balsamroot.  That sky gave us frozen ice pellets a short time later.

WE HAD COMPANY

Our daughter Bev and Kevin came to visit on the weekend and we enjoyed having them.  Kevin likes to keep busy so we were prepared with several projects for him.  My old knees really appreciated Kevin doing the majority of the work.  Bev had just come off fourteen days straight of work then driven from Fort McMurray to Salmon Arm so she was catching up on sleep part of the time.

One of the projects was skirting under the deck.  It will be stained the same as the railing after the treated wood dries out completely otherwise the green colour will leach through.

On the east end of the deck we made center opening gates for access.

Irrigation for our little gardens was another project for Kevin.  Our daffodils will be blooming soon.

A SHORT EARLY SPRING RZR RIDE

With a nice day and my feeling much better, we took the RZR for a short run up around the Burnell Lake area.  Some of the early wildflowers were blooming and most of the snow was gone in the lower elevation although we weren't able to do one trail due to the snow being too deep.
