WHILE WE WERE WALKING ON NOVEMBER 30TH I MANAGED TO FINALLY CAPTURE AN IMAGE OF A CANYON WREN.

Male Varied Thrush.

Male Varied Thrush.

Some bighorn sheep resting in the sun along the cliff edge.

Then a lady with two yappy dogs came along in the vineyard behind us which got the sheep's attention.

The sheep are watching the dogs which are now right behind us.

Canyon Wren.  They are quite small and flit around not staying put for long.  They are also well camouflaged so difficult to spot in their chosen environment.

  2. Congratulations on the Cayon Wren photo. The thrush is beautiful, too.
The sheep, pretty funny. Yappy dogs helped out for a great photo.
