AFTER THE WILDFIRE RENEWAL BEGINS

Richard and I took a drive up to see some of the devastation from last summer's wildfire above Okanagan Falls.

The fire started on the far side of Shuttleworth Creek but once it got into the canyon it roared up the natural funnel.

Not only did it burn the stump but it also burned the roots

FROM THE MARKET TO THE HIGH GRASSLANDS

On Sunday we drove down to Osoyoos to check out the Main Street Market.   Then on Tuesday Richard and I took the RZR up into the hills near Twin Lakes where we found lots of wildflowers.

I saw this old gentleman at the Osoyoos Street Market and was intrigued by the hat.  His features were interesting as well.
