TEE SHIRT AND SHORTS WEATHER YESTERDAY AND TODAY BUT IT'S GOING TO COOL A BIT.

Osoyoos had the high temperature in Canada yesterday setting a record for the day at 22+C.  We  had 24C/76F on the car and our house thermometers.  When I looked out this morning, three daffodils were out.  By this afternoon several more had opened.

PHOTOS FROM MARCH 15 AND 17, 2026 NEAR OKANGAN FALLS.

Yesterday we drove up to Salmon Arm for an appointment and it was a trip into the winter we haven't had here.  The roads were dry and the hillsides bare until we got most of the way through West Kelowna.  When we crossed the bridge over the lake and into Kelowna, it was suddenly and graphically winter with everything covered in two to three inches of snow.  The snow continued to get more heavily accumulated as we continued north with about six inches of wet snow on the ground at Salmon Arm.

We had lunch and a nice visit with our daughter Bev.  Kevin had a meeting and was unable to join us. After our meeting later in the afternoon we headed home and went from 0C in Salmon Arm at 3:30 to 14C at home at 7:30.  We were away 11.5 hours so a long day for us old people.
