Too bad about the internet and battery issues. The backroads and hiking in Arizona sound like fun, although the erosion and washboard make for slow and uncomfortable driving. We had -23 C in Salmon Arm yesterday. We went skiing at Larch Hills with -21 to -25 C when we left, depending on which of the 3 thermometers we could believe. Our fingers were extremely cold and very hard to warm up. It was -30 C, the coldest on record at Larch Hills when the tracksetter was out. There were still scattered places with dirt on the trails where the trails are under tree canopies. Today is balmy, only -13 C after about 7 cm of the fluffiest snow. Despite all the rain you have had, hopefully you are enjoying the generally drier and lower humidity. Have a good Xmas.

Ian CAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1692338136537396993.post-85903874948341408812008-12-18T21:40:00.000-08:002008-12-18T21:40:00.000-08:00Yes, it's still cold here - and there's been snow ...Yes, it's still cold here - and there's been snow on the ground since Saturday evening, with more expected each day through Saturday!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
