HORNBY ISLAND REVISITED

We are still managing to keep busy.  In fact the days still aren't long enough!  We keep trying to find new places to walk after supper.  I got out again in the ATV yesterday with brother in law, John R.  Our daughter and a friend asked if we could pick up some Phrog Gin on Hornby Island so, road trip!  Doesn't take much of an excuse for Aileen to go to an island or anywhere around the ocean.
My sister Sue and husband John R joined us and we took our lunch and supper with us.  We sat outside in light drizzle for both meals but we didn't get wet.  All in all, it was a great day.  Just as we finished hiking out to where the eagle photos were and got back in the car, the skies opened up.
I ran into a bit of a problem when I went to renew the insurance on the motor home.  Since we live full time in it, we need a special endorsement.  In the past, we've had full replacement coverage but this year since it is now more than ten years old, that doesn't apply anymore.  The office where I was dealing with had a renewal in, but with a changed policy that was double what we were paying for half the coverage.  When I tried to get the girl to come up with a different type of policy, she made a mess of it so I gave up dealing with that office.  I found a different insurance office in Parksville and I was able to sit and chat with the agent and tell him exactly what I wanted and I think we have a policy in place.  It is still a couple hundred more than last year for less than half the coverage, but apparently that's the way it is.
