BARELY SPRING

Spring is proving to be quite reluctant to appear this year.  The forecast is for temperatures into the C20s (F70s) next week so we'll see spring explode if that happens.  So far it is bundle up when out taking bird shots.
Our chair in the motor home needed replacing so we bought a lift chair that also reclines to make it better for Aileen to use.  It is quite a bit larger than the old one but we can make it work.  No sooner had we put the chair in place than the convection microwave decided to croak on us.  Aileen was just putting in the time to heat something for supper when it suddenly went blank and there was no power to anything, even the light.  Couldn't find any type of reset so don't know if it is an easy fix or not.  I would suspect it won't be easy finding a replacement as it has to fit in a specific size opening.  The motor home was built in 2008 but the microwave was made in February 2006 so I'm sure long out of production.
My Mom's next youngest sister passed away Monday morning here in Salmon Arm so we will be staying until her celebration of life April 28.  Two or three days later will probably see us heading over to Vancouver Island where we will visit Richard, Robin and Georgia for a few day before wandering further up Island.
We've been very busy here with a few appointments and visiting lots of friends.
