ST. REGIS, MONTANA

After spending last night in Grand Forks, about sixteen kms from the US border, we crossed this morning.  We had a very pleasant lady who came aboard and inspected us.  She wished us a pleasant winter in AZ.
Today we made it to St. Regis, Montana driving through some heavy rain with even a bit of sleet mixed in.  The GPS took us a new way through Spokane and it was much better than the old way of driving through downtown Spokane.    It brought us out several miles east of the old route.  209 miles yesterday and 254 today so staying pretty close to my 250 mile target per day.  The plan is Dillon, MT tomorrow then Springville, UT the next and Grand Junction the final day.

We spent last night in Grand Forks, BC and after supper I took a walk around town to admire some of the grand old houses

Grand Forks also has an over supply of white tail deer

As darkness descended, the lights came on - hand held
