TIME TO HIT THE ROAD NORTH ONCE AGAIN

Yes, it's that time of year for us to be making tracks to get back across the border.  This is the latest we've stayed down here and we have certainly seen some wonderful flowers out in the desert.   The rattlesnakes have been making an earlier entrance this year than ever before and many have been reported on the lots bordering the desert out back of our park.
There has been a mass exodus out of the park this past week.  We finished wrapping up the park model tonight and had spent the morning and early afternoon loading and readying the motor home. We also visited several of our neighbours who are still here, to bid them adieu.   We are thinking of a long day tomorrow to get us beyond Las Vegas and the Easter weekend traffic.  We'll see how the day progresses.
We saw this small Gila Monster on yesterday's ride

Ever wonder why they call this a Prickly Pear?

A while ago when Aileen and I were out in the RZR in the desert, we spotted this Yellow-backed Spiny Lizard

Here's a couple of closer shots
